Privacy policy

Account details. When you sign up we store your name, email address and authentication credentials (handled by our sign-in provider; we never see your Google password).

Prediction inputs. Percentile, category, gender, city, branch and budget preferences you enter into the predictor and calculators, plus the college matches and option forms you save.

Payment references. Subscription purchases are processed by Razorpay. We store only the Razorpay order/payment identifiers and your plan status — never your card, UPI or bank details.

Usage data. Standard server logs (pages visited, device and browser type, approximate region) used to keep the site secure and improve performance.

• To generate college predictions, option forms and alerts you ask for.
• To operate your account, subscription and referral rewards.
• To send service emails (receipts, cutoff alerts you enabled, account notices).
• To prevent abuse and keep the platform secure.
• To understand aggregate usage so we can improve the product.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies: essential cookies that keep you signed in, and preference storage for things like your predictor inputs.

We may show advertising, including ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, and you can opt out of other third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices.

Paid subscribers (Aspirant and Achiever plans) see an ad-free experience.

We share data only with the processors needed to run the service:

• Hosting and database infrastructure that stores your account and prediction data.
• Razorpay, to process subscription payments.
• Google, when advertising or sign-in with Google is used.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

We keep your account data while your account is active. You can request a copy, correction or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing us — see the contact page. Deleting your account removes your saved predictions, option forms and alerts.

Collegemitra is intended for students of counselling age (typically 16+) and their parents. We do not knowingly collect personal data from young children.

If we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
